So I’ve just finished my tenth portrait and I’ll pop up the rest shortly but I’ve just finished this one…I’ve had to wrestle with it and I’ve also joined an urban sketching group and will pop up some of these drawings but here you go….

Hey, so further adventures in drawing….well, I’m stuck in bed, I have a couple of books but I thought I’d look at some web imagery and tutorials and as mentioned before, I am a bit of a wrestling fan….so I’ve drawn one of the greats in the wwe…John Cena and…..here he is…
Hey, so I’m in bed thinking of what to sketch, then I notice my Michael Jackson’s Bad LP (yes, I am a bit of a hipster, I have 9 of my favourite LP’s on the wall with a record player next to my guitar….which I can play…..so-so….anyhow, I digress, I took my sketch pad out and thought I’d have a go at drawing the artwork for the Bad front cover)….Bare in mind this is only a sketch, but boy, it’s tricky as Michael Jackson was changing his look every five minutes in this era but anyhow, here’s what it looks like so far….definitely needs a lot of work though:
Hey, so I’ve been working in Winchester and randomly decided to take a late break…Pleased I did though! As I left my office, turned right and noticed a familiar face….I muttered “woy!” and I thought I knew who it was and as I got a bit closer, I said “Hello Mr Hodson”, he replied “hello”…And, that, frankly, made my day. The former England Football Manager saying hello to me was quite nice….so naturally, I thought “right, I’ve got a new subject to draw now!” and here you go, my portrait of the man himself, the current Crystal Palace manager and former Blackburn, Fulham, Malmo and England Manager Roy Hodgson (his hair is pretty much white now though).
Okay, it’s not 100% done yet but I thought I’d pop up what I’m currently working on.
So I’m thinking about trying my hand at landscape drawing. I wish I knew how to before as it would have come in very handy with all the places I’ve seen: The Taj Mahal, the great wall of China, the Pyramids and things like Sydney Opera House. But until then, here’s my current favourite sketch:
