Playing with waterfalls

So I intend to track my adventures in drawing; be it pen and ink, pencil, watercolour or any other type of mixed media and I’ve been practising a few things to work on my landcape drawings and for a start I’ve been working on waterfalls as you can see below as well as trees.

Please excuse my notes but it helps me remember.
Bit lighter but the technique to draw trees in pen is wonderfully simplistic but the results look pretty good.

So I’m thinking about trying my hand at landscape drawing. I wish I knew how to before as it would have come in very handy with all the places I’ve seen: The Taj Mahal, the great wall of China, the Pyramids and things like Sydney Opera House. But until then, here’s my current favourite sketch:

My dad reckons it looks more like Richard Beckinsale from Porrige but I kinda think e’s talking nonsense.
